Ever play Railroad Tycoon? Yes this game is about building the railroad, then managing the trains. The time is set after the train was invented until the modern age. It means you will see the train with steam engine on it, train with diesel engine, even the newest electric train.
The goal in each level is to connect the cities with railroad, then you must reach certain conditions. You will face various problems. How you place the railroad, make the scheduling of the train, provide facility for the train and passenger,etc. If your railroad company goes well, you will get money, but if no, you must declare bankruptcy.
The city in this game will be developed as the time goes by. You will see the station also go modern, from years 1800′s until 2000′s. The challenge will be more complicated and hard.
Pretty good game. Building railroads doesn’t sound like the most exhilarating game premise, but it’s surprisingly polished, well-made, and addictive.
I wasted a lot of nights playing Railroad Tycoon.
It’s a fascinating game for tycoon fans and beyond.
I’ve tried a previous demo version of the game and loved it. Unfortunately in that version you were not given the option of saving the game. Lead to a very long sitting. This full version looks interesting.
