Do you want to create a 3D game? But don’t have any money? You can use this engine. It’s free. The license of this 3D game engine is zlib/libpng license. In its official site, it is stated that this engine is is copyrighted to Nikolaus Gebhardt. How kind he is so he will share this engine freely.
Although this is free engine, you still can get maximum results. It’s depend on you. You have creativity and skill, then you will get good. Here is some screenshot of game ,animation, or software that made by using Irrlicht.

So, if you want to make a video game, don’t afraid to use this. Try their SDK kit, the newest one is Irrlicht SDK 1.7.1. There is lot of FAQ, documentation and tutorial. Even you are beginner, if you learn it well, you can make good game.
If I were to use this program, would I have any rights to any game that I would create? Or would it belong to the program?

Yep you have full rights with the programs.
Even, you don’t have to say that your program created using Irrlicht.
The thing you must not do is claiming that you created Irrlicht.
