Do you believe that games can be used for education? In the past, people will think that games can’t be used for education. Game is just wasting of time. But now, in this era, people realize that game can be used for the education. Games can be used to teach languages, math, physics, and lot more. There is lot of school that uses games to teach the lesson in the class.
Besides that, games also can improve the brains. Some games can stimulate human nerves, which mean it will make your brain smarter. Sometimes it can increase your IQ. Here are some facts in this area.
- Video Games can make you to think strategically. If you ever play “Rare”, you will know it. This game will challenge you to make long term decisions. You can apply this on real life.
- You can also improve problem solving skill. You can play detective games like Phoenix Wright in DS, Sudoku, Hangman, and lot of other games that require you to solve the problem given. You will see that the problem is hard to solve and you have to look at many things to solve it.
- You can improve body coordination with your seeing sense. By playing First Person Shooting games, you have to connect your eyes and hand. This game will make your eye coordination with hands more improved. Besides that, there is many games that requires you to use body to play the game.
I agree with your assessment here. Most of the smarter people that I’ve met in my travels were usually gamers in some way or another, and I’d bet your reasons helped them to achieve said levels.
