Classic Game Room reviews the PLAYSTATION MOVE for PS3 from Sony, motion control for the Playstation 3 using a funny-looking controller and camera. PS Move is more than just the PS3 version of Nintendo Wii, it makes pretty colors and costs more… but does it deliver?

@uscdrew1 tl;dr
OH COME ON! WHO DISLIKED THIS
Is that Duvel you’re drinking? BELGIAN BEER!!!
@i8246i The overall library of games you’re referring to is mainly just shovelware produced in early 2008.
“Sub-par graphics”, as you put it, are not a problem. Take Kirby’s Epic Yarn for instance, the yarn-fabric art and graphic style used in this game not only takes advantage of the available hardware to make it look good, but executes it perfectly.
You can use other controllers, the online is pretty good, and you can play it any size room, unlike another motion controlled device (Kinect)
@uscdrew1
Its not totally casual, but holy crap have you looked at the overall library of games?
But, that’s not to say that being “casual” is a bad thing. Casual games are a nice waste of time when you don’t want to get into anything deep.
The problems with the wii are its subpar graphics, the horrible controllers you’re forced to use, the lack of a decent online system in this day and age, and the fact that its not made for small rooms.
@yoshinator2000 you can get both controllers and a launch game for $130
@bigiss1111 and how exactly does that look like a dildo? Clearly your ass is deformed hahaha if you use that
sweet light up dildos
YAY! I think I have an extender for the eye!
@yoshinator2000 Have you played it yet?
the lightbulb feature is why i have an ipod touch!
didn’t know people drink Duvel in the americas
Glad to see some people drink decent beer instead pisswater (heineken).
@RainingFlow19 if you are asking me why I din’t go for the 200 dolar 360 slim the answer that the hard disk itself is at the price of around 110-130 dolar(the hdd is important for me duh) 4gb is simply not enough…
@yoshinator2000 lol the xbox is just the same.. i pay 300 dolar for the slim and another 150 for kinect plus xbox live for 49.99 and still no game (kinect adventure does not count)… well in my place actually you do a game and you can choose the game when you buy the xbox or the ps3 for example you can choose to get uncharted or metal gear solid for free when you buy the console of another 5$ to get both game which is a good deal to me
The move is just a fucking rip off, $300 for the console and then $100 for the move that is already $400 worth of things and you havent even bought any games yet (And the sports game does not count).
Can u put move on the bottom of your tv like the wii sensor bar
It’s weird seeing you with your hat off man…
yeah derek rock that ren and stimpy hoody
@lylatfox4 youre right, and i think a kid wouldnt be able to collect for example the green stars or any other harder star in galaxy2. the kirby series is the best example how balanced nintendo franchises are. it looks like a little cute game for children with savepoints after every door and trapped enemies and so on.but there is usually something to collect or 100 % and if you do, then you will be awarded with a cool final boss like 02. kids dont really care about 100%-ing a game.
@uscdrew1 yeah and now its really changing. sony and microsoft get alot of party games, while nintendo releases some games, they should have released earlier. soys and microsofts franchises cant beat all the different nintendo franchises. the only problem is that nintendo doesnt use all of them. also as i said they just began to use a part of them recently.
Mullet or ponytail? (4:23-26)
@EnvyMizuhashi Actually, Eyetoy is a camera, Wii is a remote.
there not even doing it properly but who cares!
@uscdrew1 i never did like those games, it was just challenges and nothing substantial. though they did pave the way for current video games. though i would like to destroy the realistic video games, i hate that people use consols to play sports and for warfare. its sickening.
looks like somebody was high when makin this review HAHAHA
I almost agree on everything he said. There are great ideas in this game but none of them are well implemented. Just the fact we don’t have an inventory menu to check how many items you have is a nonsense (have you not bought a piece of clothe or a tattoo 2 times by mistake?). The A.I. is as dumb as before, the levelling is stupid, useless dog and family stuff and so on. But anyway I enjoyed it like the others and I hope the 4th will come back to basics and not be KinectFable shit.
You know, there’s no such thing as star formation. Just because a spot gets brighter, doesn’t mean that a star forms. It just means that the star is already there & dust clears so that we see the star in visible wavelengths for the first time. Red shift with light doesn’t necessarily measure an object’s recession speed. It can be due to tired light, which is the result of light being pulled by gravity. Strangely I found Fable 2 to be the case where the main story was weaker than the sidequests. I always felt as though it never had the necessary build up to make any of the dire situations have any real impact. The characters that were effected by your decision making disappeared as abruptly as they were introduced. It was as though Lionhead said “wouldn’t it be interesting if..” then never made the events connect in a meaningful way.
Fable 3 seems to be an allegory for game development.
I enjoyed the review..I love the Fable games but im not so sure if I even want to purchase this game.I dont think I’d enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Fable 2.
i liked the game, the side quest where awesome. but it was alot of dissapointments. i completet the game on both evil and good ending. and i liked em both. but it was kinda lame that being good is so damn expensive. like .. can u never make money by being good? and why the hell was, taking away the alcohol drinking limit a good thing? i just enden up whit a world full of drunk people, serisly albion, u cant drink all ur problems away. and why did it cost me to do so. people bought more alcohol
Buy all the real estate when your king. Then you can make enough to save everyone in Albion without breaking your promises. Then the ” Theresa” charater will say, ” you’ve done the impossible. You have keep your promises and saved the people of Albion.” So their IS a reason to buy all the real estate!
this game is like a mainstream radio song rushed unfinished and you always think theres going to be that one chorus or part that makes the song good in the end but it never comes.
I literally dont have enough room in 1 box to list even half of the things i found disappointing about this game.
Fable 1 was good, and the expansion. Fable 2 and 3 have been just going WAY down hill.
This game was SO dumbed down from the other games that a new born could play it.
No health, no challenge, less action unless you ignore the storyline, Hardly any impact form moral decision, the end of the game felt extremely rushed, co-op was disappointing, unable to choose conversation options, have to hold peoples hands through escorts, less demon doors, they didn’t increase the gameplay time, less armor and weapons, more limits on item customization, simplified leveling system..
3.20 awesome armour!
Fable 3 was a big disappointment for me because it felt seriously simplified to the point that it was a bland gaming experience. The final boss fight was wtf and wasn’t even a challenge. Overall, I agree with you that this game does deserve a pass for its predecessor Fable 2.
fable is getting shit, im just playing fallout to satisfy my RPG needs
I totally agree with this review. I didn’t love this game like i did Fable 2! When I first played fable 2, it was simply the best RPG I had ever played. But this seemed like they tried too hard to evolve as a game series. Sometimes a sequel should just be a sequel, not an ENTIRLY DIFFERENT GAME!! Still, I enjoyed my experiences with Fable 3 but it just disappointed me greatly!
fable is just getting more modern each time which is shit
You compare the sanctuary to the “clunky menus” of the previous game. The menus were much faster than the sanctuary and allowed me to make changes quickly. The sanctuary is slow and irritating.
Other than that, I have to agree that this game falls short. It’s odd that this is the game that has sequelitis when it’s the third game in the series.
Dude awesome previeuw=D
Peter should stick to making games in genres he knows, ever since he left Bullfrog, Lion head has produced nothing but tat, the only thing he brings to the games now is quirky humour and unique art themes. The reason I didn’t consider getting Fable 3 is because I thought Fable 2 was so childishly easy and linear, this review solidifies my decision.
@GodlyGothGuy If you read through the comments on this video I think you’ll find many people who agree with you.
I will throw one thing out there, though I could be mistaken. It’s my experience that evil characters are never in need of money. When you have no qualms about killing and stealing, money is easy to come by. Therefore, when he says his character is evil, but then implies that no one ever needs money, it seems unbalanced. Of course, I’m still playing Fable II until Christmas, so maybe he’s right. I don’t know.
@Crazyware212 That’s how I roll.
this game is terrible
“the combat is extremely simple and offers absolutely no challenge”
said right before he died… in combat.
Noice.
WELL lionhead wanted to do something different and wasent leaning more on rpg but to action. thats why they removed alot of the rpg elements. also the framerate was slow becuz knowing the pace of combat, the lowered the standard.
why do you only reply to negative comments?
Rpg aimed for casuals – this guy isn’t one.
Agree with him
