youve got to remember that it is only a small disc so they can make a huge game like say god of war on the ps2
@Deadd77 Hell no. If GoS is 4 hours long, then COO is 2 hours long. Gos is lengthier than COO. and if you play it on easy, you’ll finish it in 6/7 hours, but play it in God mode, and it won’t be that easy and quick!

@007Scapula The gameplay is also better, as the ‘rush’ move as I call it, is something I loved. The gameplay is not revolutionary, but its not broken so why fix it? The same formula is there, and for anything revolutionary, you’ll have to gear your eyes on the console versions. A few extra’s like the spear and the awesome camera angle behind Kratos, with blood on Kratos’ body and face, all added up just makes a whole better package than COO. Kay, thats clear.
@007Scapula I disagree. In COO, the story didn’t really make much sense, since he didn’t even search for his daughter at all, but was just doing what the gods told him to do. Later on, he went for his daughter, and that was a somewhat unpleasant twist, since most people I know, didn’t like. The story boring and short, thats the main point. GoS has a better, a bit touching story and thats interesting. This is purely my opinion, and I know you, nor anyone can change it.
@Jiyaijo the gameplay took me less than 6 and a half hour to finish. The environment, well, GoS environment is very much detailed and clearly is supreme than CoO. But when you asked me about the choice of environment (Places) and how they are planned or made, I stick with CoO because I felt the epicness that made the game, well epic. I will give you a hint of what you will find in GoS. Ship, Atlantis, Volcano, Crete, Snowy mountain, Sparta, Mountain, Death’s domain.
@Jiyaijo Yeah in graphics, with added cg movie and details. If you find the search for his daughter lame, finding his mother is lamer, why? Because you can find her at the beginning. Also finding his brother is the story of GoS unlike in CoO where ther are spinoff. Boss fights, no, End game boss fight is lame, believe me, not much of mini game sequences unlike in other GoW games. The spear is cool and useful in GoS. As for the magic, its the magic that makes GoS easy, especially magic number 2.
@007Scapula Get outta here. Ghost of Sparta is A LOT better than Chains of Olympus. The lame search for his daughter midway is something I didn’t care about, but the search for his mother and brother is a lot more interesting. GOS has a few touching moments, great boss fights and is a lot lenghtier than Chains of Olympus. New weapons of course and magic. New environments as well! Chains of Olympus wasn’t that good, but GoS is great
@Jiyaijo Guest what, the only thing that improves in The of Sparta is the presentation in Graphics, the story is very straight forward and you may want to love the story in Chain of Olympus than GoS.

@cookiecrumble9v well, they added a filter over the voicing to make it sound less female and almost… neutral (bad word choice, i know) but instead of being a biased fanboy, you should have just gone into the new game with an open mind (like i did), and maybe you would have actually enjoyed it since the game is still very fun.

Well you can buy a used wii for $100. I dont think its a bad deal. Especially since you’re buying it for one game. Journey ito dream is still Night but the voice acting/ platforming parts are attrocious after that its nothing but Nights goodness. Oh and get a classic controller and Gamecube one too.

Journey of Dreams wasn’t perfect, but the fact that some guy saying “It wasn’t a remake so it sucks!!” is the highest rated comment is quite laughable. I’m glad CGR isn’t hiring from here.

Okay, pull your tampon out for half a second and use your head. First off, they were trying to show NiGHTS isn’t just a japanese character by moving IT to another (hitherto unnamed) country. NiGHTS was designed by Sonic Team to be androgenous, so that voice you claim is a “little girl’s” voice, is in fact a CHILD’s, intended to be either masculine or feminine depending on your perception. Clearly, you think in terms of girls. Finally, it was on the WII for christsakes.
My dad absolutely loved that game about 10 years ago.
