Diamond Ring
one of only times i ever disagreed with the game nerd. Simons quest is one of the best NES games of all time. It was an inspiration to many rpg like games. Although the puzzles were impossible sometimes and required a guide to get past the game, the gameplay is good and not hard at all. Its a true classic that many people remember as frustrating, but is a very nostalgic classic.

Castlevania 2 wasn’t that bad because it does have some things better than the original.
Your whip works better, you get more health meaning you can take more hits and more open ended game play.
The bosses do suck pretty bad with that annoying day and night feature now Sonic Unleashed did the concept slightly better.
I was surprised enough people actually wanted AVGN to review Zelda 2 which wasn’t that bad either.
It also takes about ten seconds for most cutscenes in Rogue Squadron III to skip or load (but the game kicks its immediate prequel’s ass so hard that it is tolerable).

Simon’s quest is confusing as hell, its lil bit like Zelda and Mega Man in a way. But James right about most thing in this game. And if you played this game i know you have to use alot of holy water and if you use draculas eye you can find red books for secrets and if you collect alot of hearts you upgrade and you can upgrade your weapons too my worse enemies in this game are the spiders, the eyeballs and them fucking jumping demons.

Ya know, if some developer really wanted to, they could take the entire Back to the Future trilogy and make a fairly big, kick ass game. Throw in a bunch of random side quests to close all the various plot holes and whatnot. I think it would be kinda fun.
